Who Are You?

#it's funny because you know it's one of those episodes that sets out to break your heart #because you know Faith isn't ready for true redemption just yet #that whatever hope or peace she gets is only temporary because it's based on a lie #that from a meta POV you know it won't last #and then you watch her struggle to do the right thing for the right reasons just once #'because it's wrong' is used 3 times in this episode #twice in derision and finally with sincerity #and it's a beautiful little development arc plotted right there #because our girl finally understands why someone would put themselves out there to help people #that there are good people out there #and how safe it feels to be one of the good guys at last #and then of course the whole illusion shatters and her whole world comes crashing down #because redemption is hard and hurts like a motherfucka #yup #feelings i have them #always had a thing for the damaged ones
